      In Yekaterinburg, from June 8 to 21, the gastronomic festival "Ural. Music. Food" will take place for the first time, uniting about 30 restaurants in the city, the "Ural Night of Music," and the project "Authentic Ural Cuisine" - AUC, the organizers of the mentioned events reported.

      Participating restaurants will present special festival menus within the framework of "Ural. Music. Food," inspired by music, local products, and Ural stories. One of the festival dishes will be the "Gorenburger."

      The idea to return the eponymous item to the festival menu of the restaurant "Two Grandfathers" was suggested by the son of the founder of Ural Music Night, producer Evgeny Gorenburg. As Kirill Gorenburg explained, the dish called "Gorenburger," as "just a local joke," first appeared in 1999 at the "Mendeleev" club.

      In the festival version, the classic burger has been reinterpreted through Ural cuisine: instead of the usual buns, there are crispy draniki, inside - a juicy patty, bacon jam, spicy cherries, and cucumber sauce.

      The day before, on May 21, the presentation of the "Gorenburger" took place. The event organizers describe the dish in honor of the outstanding Yekaterinburg resident as "hearty, ironic, and very Yekaterinburg."
