The judge was dismissed for donations to the liquidated "Roizman Fund*"
Judge Vyacheslav Bushuev of the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region had to resign due to a transfer to the charitable "Roizman Fund," founded by former Yekaterinburg mayor Yevgeny Roizman (*included in the register of foreign agents by the Ministry of Justice of Russia).
The transfer to the charitable "Roizman Fund" was recognized as "political activity in the form of financing."
The decision on May 22 was made by the qualification board of judges, reports 66.RU. The chair of the qualification board, Sofia Zakirova, described Bushuev's actions in the decision as "committing a disciplinary offense."
Several payments with charitable purposes, including to the "Roizman Fund," were recognized as "conducting political activity in the form of financing," Bushuev wrote in his blog. He worked in the judicial system for 16 years.
Yevgeny Roizman himself, in a comment to 66.RU, suggested that the transfers to his fund could have been a reason, rather than the cause, for the judge's resignation. This is indirectly supported by Bushuev's own words that "at any moment, a judge, especially one who has become undesirable to the lower management, can be expelled from the profession."
The press service of the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region confirmed Bushuev's resignation "in connection with engaging in activities incompatible with the position of a judge, with the deprivation of the first qualification class."
Let us remind you that the "Roizman Fund" was liquidated by the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Yekaterinburg in August 2025. The lawsuit for the liquidation of the fund was filed by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. The organization has been excluded from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL).
