The number of families for whom the budget compensates part of the expenses for housing and communal services has decreased by a thousand over the year. Meanwhile, the average subsidy amount has increased by about 10%. In the first quarter of 2026, more than 600 million rubles were allocated from the budget for this purpose.
According to information from Sverdlovskstat, during this time, 65.6 thousand families benefited from the subsidy, whereas previously there were a thousand more. These payments are available to those whose housing and communal service expenses exceed 22% of the family's total income.
The average monthly subsidy per family amounted to 2,960.6 rubles, which is 9.6% higher than in January-March 2025. At the same time, the share of recipients is only 3.3% of the total number of families in the region, writes Ura.Ru.
