A woman died in an accident on the Old Siberian Highway in Yekaterinburg.
Details have emerged about the traffic accident on the Old Siberian Highway, where, according to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, a driver died yesterday.
The accident occurred the day before at around 12:30 at the 23rd kilometer of the Siberian Highway, reports the public page "Incident Yekaterinburg."
According to preliminary data, a 71-year-old woman, driving a Skoda Octavia, failed to yield when exiting an adjacent area onto the bypass of the Siberian Highway and collided with a Mitsubishi driven by a 42-year-old man.
At that moment, a 34-year-old driver of a Porsche Taycan, while maneuvering around the accident, lost control and veered into the right ditch, reports "Incident Yekaterinburg."
As a result of the incident, the female driver of the Skoda was killed. The other participants in the accident were not injured.
Earlier, the State Traffic Inspectorate revealed the circumstances of another accident that occurred on the same day, May 30, on the federal highway near Beloyarsky. Two people died in that incident. In total, over the past day, four people became victims of traffic accidents in the Sverdlovsk region.
