A foreign car with children got into an accident with a "KAMAZ" on the way to Sysert.
Two minor passengers in a foreign car were injured in an accident with a truck on the way to the village of Bolshoye Sedenikovo in the Sysert district. The injured have been hospitalized at DGBK No. 9 in Yekaterinburg.
The accident occurred the day before, on June 6, around 12:50, on the approach to the Novo-Sverdlovsk oil depot from the road "Approach to the village of Bolshoye Sedenikovo," 6 km 400 m, reported the State Traffic Inspectorate of Russia in Yekaterinburg.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the KamAZ truck, moving from the direction of the Sysert station towards the Novo-Sverdlovsk oil depot, did not maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead and collided with a Peugeot 308 traveling in the same direction.
As a result of the collision, the passengers of the Peugeot 308—teenagers aged 12 and 17—were injured.
Both injured were taken by ambulance to DGBK No. 9 in Yekaterinburg with bodily injuries. At the time of the accident, the minors were wearing seat belts.
Thanks to the fact that the children were transported without violating the traffic rules of the Russian Federation, serious injuries were avoided.
The driver of the KamAZ was a 59-year-old resident of the city of Berëzovsky, with 41 years of driving experience. He had previously been held administratively responsible only twice.
The Peugeot 308 was driven by a 44-year-old resident of Yekaterinburg with 13 years of driving experience, who had been held administratively responsible once.
Both drivers underwent testing for intoxication, and the result was sober.
