An updated General Plan taking into account the KRT will be developed in Yekaterinburg.
The head of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov, signed an order to begin work on updating the city's General Plan until 2045, taking into account new comprehensive development programs (CDP), transportation reform, and residents' proposals. This is reported by "Ъ-Ural."
The new General Plan should include updated plans for the CDP (demolition of old existing buildings and construction of new residential and special facilities), development of transportation infrastructure and engineering networks, as well as the expansion of the water-green framework (an ecological "skeleton" of water bodies, parks, forest belts, embankments, etc., performing tasks to protect residents from harmful natural and technogenic factors, as well as recreational functions) of Yekaterinburg, writes "Ъ-Ural."
Applications are accepted until July 6 by the Department of Architecture of the Yekaterinburg administration.
The development of the updated General Plan will begin after the collection of proposals is completed. Then the project will be submitted for public discussions to make final adjustments before final approval by the Ministry of Construction of the Sverdlovsk region.
