The Academic District Court of Yekaterinburg on Saturday, June 13, considered the investigator's petition for the selection of a preventive measure in the form of detention regarding one of the hooligans who insulted a girl and beat up a man who defended her on bus route 64.
"Earlier, several young people attacked a girl on a city bus, and then beat up a passenger who defended her," the press service of the Academic District Court reports.
According to the preliminary investigation authorities, one of the attackers was Igidov A.I. He has been charged under part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Hooliganism committed by a group of persons, or related to resistance to a person preventing a violation of public order - note from Uralweb.ru).
The investigator's petition was granted, and a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for Igidov A.I. until August 8. The court's ruling has not yet entered into legal force.
