In the photographs published on Tatyana Georgievna's page, along with her, flowers are brought to the foot of the monument at the Yeltsin Center by all the top officials of the Sverdlovsk region - Governor Denis Pasler, Speaker of the Regional Legislative Assembly Lyudmila Babushkina, Head of the Regional Public Chamber Alexander Levin, Senators Arkady Chernetsky and Viktor Shepty.
"On this day in 1990, the Declaration on the State Sovereignty of the RSFSR was adopted. And a year later, in 1991, the first President of the Russian Federation, Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin, was elected," explained Tatyana Merzlyakova the meaning of the state holiday, celebrated in Russia since 1992.
It should be noted that the laying of flowers at the monument to B.N. Yeltsin takes place annually not only in June but also in February on the politician's birthday.
