Two teenagers in Krasnoturinsk brutally killed their peer.

      In Krasnoturinsk, two teenagers fatally stabbed a schoolgirl. The attack on the girl was carried out by two minors in a garage area on June 12, reports "KP-Ekaterinburg."

      According to the investigation, the 15-year-old victim was stabbed once by two teenagers aged 16 and 15.

      — The crime was committed on the grounds of a conflict that arose between one of the suspects and the girl due to insults. After the act, the boys fled the scene. A passerby discovered the injured girl and called an ambulance. The girl died in the hospital, the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region reported.

      The suspects were detained "in hot pursuit," said Valery Gorelykh, head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region.

      They have been charged under paragraph "g" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder committed by a group of persons by prior agreement").

      One of the boys strangled the victim, while the other cut her with a knife, a resident of Krasnoturinsk told "KP-Ekaterinburg." Both have already confessed to the crime. A cutting object, the weapon of the crime, has been seized.

      As residents of Krasnoturinsk previously told "KP-Ekaterinburg," the murderers and their victim studied at the same school. The girl was raised by her mother alone, while both teenagers came from intact families. The motive for the attack allegedly stemmed from the girl's words about the parents of one of the suspects.

      According to Colonel Gorelykh, the crime was not spontaneous; the murderers lured the girl to a deserted place under false pretenses with the intent to kill.

      The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region, Bogdan Francishko, to present a report on the progress of the investigation and the established circumstances.

      In March, the Verkhnepyshminsky City Court sentenced a minor who brutally beat a 13-year-old acquaintance at the age of 15 and dragged her to a deserted place to die. The girl was miraculously saved thanks to the timely start of the search.

      In May, the Suburban District Court (Nizhny Tagil) sentenced a 15-year-old teenager who inexplicably stabbed a woman in a stairwell. Initially, a criminal case was opened under the article on attempted murder, as the victim did not die at the crime scene but later in the hospital. The murderer was placed under house arrest, from which he escaped. After public outcry, the charges were intensified, and the accused was taken into custody.
