The screenwriter of "Happy Together" has been found guilty of murdering a former participant of "House-2."
In Moscow, the jury delivered a guilty verdict in the case of the murder of former reality show participant "Dom-2" Dmitry Lukin, reports 66.RU. The accused in the case is the screenwriter of the series "Happy Together," Stanislav Berestov.
The murder was committed on April 14 of last year in Berestov's apartment on Shchelkovskoye Highway in Moscow. According to the investigation, during a quarrel, while in a state of intoxication, the screenwriter inflicted 91 stab wounds on his 33-year-old friend Lukin. The victim died from the injuries sustained.
Berestov's defense insisted on self-defense. According to the lawyer's version, the drunken Lukin attacked his senior companion due to his career failures. At the same time, their client had no motive for murder.
The accused himself called the police. Upon arrival, the police were informed by the screenwriter that he was acting in self-defense. In the fight, Berestov sustained fractures of the facial bones and nose, as well as cuts on his hands, and spent several days in intensive care, reports NEWS.ru.
On June 9, the jury proclaimed a guilty verdict against Berestov. The discussion of the jury's verdict is scheduled by the Izmailovsky District Court of Moscow for June 18.
Stanislav Berestov is one of the screenwriters of the sitcom "Happy Together" (2006), which takes place in Yekaterinburg, and the series "Master" (2021). He also worked as a screenwriter on the program "Prozhektorperiskhilton" (2008). Dmitry Lukin began his career in show business as a provincial corporate host. A former participant in the reality show "Dom-2" (he tried to build a relationship with Maria Kohn). Later, he tried his hand as a screenwriter and producer on federal television.
