A bakery in the Sverdlovsk region was closed due to staphylococcus and E. coli.
In Sukhoi Log, a bakery was closed after the discovery of staphylococcus and E. coli.
Judicial officers suspended the operation of the local bakery on Gorky Street for 90 days. The reason was gross violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements identified during the inspection.
As specialists established, the layout of the premises did not ensure compliance with technological processes. Employees freely moved around the workshops in outer clothing, and personal belongings, mobile phones, and cleaning equipment were stored near the production area in a room without doors. Additionally, the toilet doors opened directly into the production workshop.
Laboratory tests revealed golden staphylococcus and E. coli bacteria in swabs from workers' hands, cutting boards, and working surfaces. Moreover, the last disinfection at the enterprise, according to the accounting journal, was conducted back in August 2025.
Inspectors also found products without the necessary labeling, making it impossible to determine their shelf life. Of the four bakery employees, only one had a valid medical book.
