As reported by the press secretary of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk region, Valery Gorelykh, the suspect turned out to be a student of the construction college studying to become an electrician. He was detained at his place of study. According to the police representative, the young man admitted his guilt, apologized, and stated that he does not hold Nazi views. He explained his actions by saying that he was unaware of the possible consequences and public resonance.

Information about the incident received wide public resonance after a photograph of the order was published on social networks. The photo was posted by a deputy of the Sverdlovsk region, Alexey Svalov. According to him, the photograph was taken by a friend who was in one of the cafes of the "Dodo Pizza" chain.
As the deputy claims, when asked by those around him about the reasons for his actions, the young man replied that he was expressing his own position in this way. The penalty for the article under which the administrative proceedings were initiated includes, among other things, administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
