Construction of a year-round thermal resort will begin on the shores of Baltyma in the fall.
This autumn, construction of a thermal complex will begin at the site of the existing recreation base "Ogon Plyazh" on Lake Baltym near Verkhnyaya Pyshma, reports 66.RU. The "Baltymskie Termy" project is being implemented by the development company "Svoboda Mysli" and the founders of "Ogon Plyazh."
The project to create a year-round recreation area will start in the year marking the 10th anniversary of the beach's operation. The construction, estimated at 1.1 billion rubles, is expected to be completed by 2028.
"Baltymskie Termy" will include both indoor pools with saunas and outdoor facilities, including a year-round heated outdoor pool. The thermal complex will feature a hotel with 94 rooms and a restaurant. With the summer area, the resort will be able to accommodate up to 3,500 guests at the same time.
The thermal complex will be located on a 10-hectare site with a coastline stretching 600 meters. Previously, the owner of "Ogon Plyazh," the company "Berezovaya Roscha," intended to build a cottage settlement on this site, but local residents opposed it, writes 66.RU. They generally do not object to the thermal resort project, which does not involve changing the land from one category to another, as long as a proper sewage and drainage system is organized.
