The defendants in the murders of two entrepreneurs committed 30 years ago have been arrested in Yekaterinburg. The measure of restraint for the defendants Sergey Makoveev and Boris Vasilenko was chosen on Thursday by the Lenin District Court of Yekaterinburg.
According to the investigation, in July 1996, the defendants planned and committed the murder of a previously known entrepreneur from Severouralsk. The second episode, related to the murder of another entrepreneur in November 1996, is only attributed to Vasilenko.
The preliminary investigation authorities accuse Makoveev under paragraphs "a" and "n" of Article 102 of the RSFSR Criminal Code (as amended on April 28, 1995) - "Intentional murder for mercenary motives, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement."
