The decision on the possible restriction of internet access during the "Ural Night of Music" festival will be made by special security agencies. This was stated by the Minister of Culture of the Sverdlovsk Region, Ilya Markov, at a press conference dedicated to the preparation for the event.
According to the minister, the safety of the residents of Yekaterinburg and festival guests remains the top priority. In light of modern challenges, the organizers have updated instructions in case of a drone attack and other potential threats.
Markov noted that responsible leaders have been appointed at each festival venue, who will act according to approved algorithms in the event of emergencies.
Speaking about the possible internet shutdown, the minister emphasized that such measures can only be implemented by the decision of special security agencies if they deem it necessary to protect the participants of the event.
