One of the key tools for workforce training: an admissions campaign has begun in technical schools in the Sverdlovsk region.
In the Sverdlovsk region, the admission campaign for colleges and technical schools has started. This year, 27,197 applicants will be able to enroll in budget places — this is 245 more than the previous year. According to the acting governor Denis Pasler, the system of secondary vocational education remains one of the main tools for training personnel for the region's economy. Among the most popular fields for applicants are engineering, metallurgy, information technology, pedagogy, medicine, and energy. In 2025, the federal project "Professionalitet" will continue to develop in the region — seven more educational clusters will be opened, where students will be able to acquire professions in close cooperation with employers. Documents can be submitted in person to the college or technical school, via Russian Post, the State Services portal, or the regional admission system. Applications for full-time study will be accepted until August 15, and for specialties requiring creative, physical, or psychological qualities — until August 10. Orphans, children left without parental care, veterans and participants in combat operations, military personnel, employees of law enforcement agencies and their children, as well as applicants who have signed a targeted training agreement will receive priority in enrollment.
