The Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk Region, headed by Ilya Markov, will assist the "Kolyada-Theater" in preparing for the new creative season. This was reported by the Department of Information Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Cooperation between the regional Ministry of Culture and the theater became possible after a new founder was appointed to the brainchild of the late N.V. Kolyada, who is Eka Vashakidze. This concerns issues related to the building of the "Kolyada-Theater," the search for grants, and obtaining targeted subsidies for theater projects.
The Ministry of Culture has already actively participated in the preparation of "Kolyada-Plays," the main festival project of the theater, which brings together performances based on the plays of Nikolai Kolyada and his students by other groups at venues in Yekaterinburg.
"After the end of the 'Kolyada-Plays' festival, we will hold a meeting and plan the theater's creative season taking into account all existing legal and organizational features," emphasized Minister Ilya Markov.
The "Kolyada-Plays" festival, which opened on June 20, will last for 10 days.
