On the afternoon of July 6, an 11-year-old boy drowned in Sysert. It all happened on the Aramilka River in the village of Patrushi. As reported by the head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk region, Valery Gorelykh, the boys went swimming in a group of four without their parents' permission.
— While in the water, one of them started waving his arms but did not call for help. His friends thought their buddy was just fooling around. They only raised the alarm when he disappeared underwater. The body of the 11-year-old child was found on the morning of July 7, — clarified Valery Gorelykh.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under the article "Negligence." The investigation is determining whether officials took measures to prevent the tragedy. Earlier, we reported that two teenagers drowned in the Sverdlovsk region.
