Preparatory work has already begun in the square in front of Koltsovo Airport — specialists have started dismantling the old pavement. Over the course of the year, the pedestrian space will be completely reconstructed.
In developing the project, special attention was paid to the comfort of passengers traveling with children. A modern play area will be created for young guests of the airport, featuring a multifunctional complex, a slide, and swings. The area will be equipped with safe special flooring.
Comfortable resting places will be provided for adults: benches and urban swings will be installed in the square. The area will also be significantly greened — new lawns will appear in front of the terminals, about 30 large trees will be planted, as well as several hundred shrubs and decorative plants.
As part of the improvement, the surface of the square will be completely updated. Natural stone and paving slabs of different shades will be used for the paving.
The work will be carried out in stages. The area in front of the international airlines terminal will be the first to be transformed.
