A drunken resident of Sverdlovsk tried to wrest a baby from the security forces with a jack.

      The Kamyshlov District Court has sentenced a local resident to 10 days in jail for attacking police officers with a jack in an attempt to take his son from them. This was reported by the press service of the Sverdlovsk region courts.

      Everything happened on July 15. The duty unit of the intermunicipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Kamyshlovsky" received a report from a citizen who saw a drunken man and woman walking down the street with a small child in their arms. They continued to drink alcohol and nearly dropped the baby.

      Police officers and a juvenile affairs inspector arrived at the scene. They noticed the man and his cohabitant and decided to take the child from the family. The police officer handed the baby over to the juvenile inspector, which displeased the child's father. He ran out into the street, began to shout, wave his arms, and express himself. He did not respond to remarks and jumped on the patrol car. When he reached his own car, the man pulled out a jack and threatened the police officers with it.

      As a result, the Ural resident was detained by the police and taken to the department. A report was drawn up against the man for petty hooliganism. The court found the Sverdlovsk resident guilty of hooliganism and sentenced him to 10 days of administrative arrest.

      Earlier, a Yekaterinburg athlete doused a smoker with "pepper spray."
