Visitors to the Shartash Forest Park have been given an important warning.
The administration of the Shartash Forest Park has issued a warning to visitors about the increased danger in the forest area. The reason is the anomalously rainy weather and the frequent strong gusts of wind.
According to the park's information, prolonged precipitation is causing soil erosion and undermining the root systems of trees. As a result, even externally healthy trees may lose stability, dangerously lean, and fall during strong winds.
Environmental inspectors patrol the area daily and carry out work to clear already fallen trees. However, after each period of bad weather, new potentially dangerous areas emerge.
Visitors are urged to take precautions: do not visit the forest during gusty winds and immediately after, stay away from severely leaning trees, and immediately leave the area of potential tree fall upon hearing the cracking of branches or trunks.
The park administration emphasizes that following these recommendations will help avoid accidents and ensure safety while enjoying nature.
