A resident of the Sverdlovsk region, who died in the Jily-Su area, passed away from acute heart failure. This was reported to "KP-Ekaterinburg" by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kabardino-Balkar Republic. No signs of criminal activity have been established in the incident.
The tragedy occurred on July 19. A 44-year-old resident of Nizhny Tagil, along with her cousin and her husband, ascended to a height as part of a tour group. During the route, the woman suddenly felt unwell. At first, she sat down on a rock, but after a few moments, she stood up, took a few steps, and fell down.
— The woman's body was evacuated from the gorge and handed over to the investigative operational group of law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic reported.
Witnesses attempted to resuscitate the tourist for about 40 minutes, but they were unable to save her. The medic who arrived at the scene confirmed her death.
