During the flight, he drank a lot, started swearing, behaved provocatively, and smoked cigarettes right in the cabin.

      — The citizen deliberately approached the sign with the inscription "Exit" and hit it with his hand, thereby damaging it. Later, the airline assessed the damage at more than 20,000 rubles. In the duty unit, he could not clearly explain the motives for his actions, citing the excessive amount of alcohol consumed, the transport police clarified.

      Two criminal cases were initiated against the man under the articles "Hooliganism" and "Vandalism." In addition, the Yekaterinburg resident was held administratively liable under three articles of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation: "Violation of the federal law prohibiting smoking tobacco," "Appearance in public places in a state of intoxication," and "Failure to comply with lawful orders of the commander of the aircraft by persons on board." Under the articles of the Administrative Offenses Code, the troublemaker was sentenced to 10 days of arrest. A decision on the criminal cases will also be made in the coming days.
