The Yekaterinburg Railway District Court suspended the operation of the restaurant "Syravarnya" at Dzerzhinsky Street, 2/2 for 10 days. The reason was numerous violations of sanitary requirements identified during an inspection by Rospotrebnadzor.
The inspection took place on July 20. Inspectors found that some products were stored at inappropriate temperatures. For example, in the warehouse, the air was heated to +24 degrees with high humidity, while manufacturers of spices, sauces, and groceries recommend storing them at temperatures no higher than +20 degrees. In the freezers, specialists discovered repeated freezing of berries, and bread and caviar were stored in violation of the conditions specified on the packaging.
There were also numerous complaints regarding the compliance with sanitary rules by the staff. According to the court, employees kept personal belongings and food in cabinets together with sanitary clothing, and used reusable gowns to visit the toilet, the washing of which was not organized. In addition, the restaurant did not conduct daily inspections of staff for signs of infectious diseases, and some employees lacked the necessary vaccinations and information about undergoing hygiene training.
The inspection also revealed unsanitary conditions in the production areas. Cracks and chips were found on the walls and tiles, where dirt accumulated, ventilation hoods were covered with dust, and there was garbage on the floor in the meat and pastry shops. The cutting tools lacked labeling, there were no thermometers to control the meat temperature, and some semi-finished products were stored without expiration dates.
Representatives of the restaurant informed the court that some violations had already been rectified. However, the court deemed these measures insufficient, stating that problems with ventilation, cleaning, and maintaining necessary documentation persisted.
As a result, the establishment's activities were suspended for 10 days.
