Denis Pasler set the task for "Ural" to reach the Russian Premier League.
The Governor of Sverdlovsk Region, Denis Pasler, set the task for FC Ural to reach the Russian Premier League following the meeting of the club's board of trustees. This was reported on Tuesday by the regional department of information policy.
To achieve this goal, a number of systemic decisions were made, including the change of the head coach and the renewal of the team roster, noted Denis Pasler.
"Today, FC Ural has the task of reaching the Russian Premier League, and there can be no other. We have everything for this: patrons, football infrastructure, fans, a professional coaching staff. Football is loved in Sverdlovsk Region, and people enjoy attending games. And, of course, everyone believes that the team must solve the main task this season," said Denis Pasler.
As of today, the board of trustees of FC Ural includes 26 representatives of the business community of Yekaterinburg.
"We have many sincere, caring businessmen in our region who are passionate about football. It's great that they are becoming part of our team. I hope that Ural will reach the RPL, and the financial capabilities of the patrons will allow them to invest even more in children's and professional football," said the chairman of the board of trustees of FC Ural, Konstantin Pogrebinsky.
As a result of the 2025/2026 sports season in the Russian First League championship, FC Ural took third place. In the playoff matches for the right to play in the RPL, our team lost to Makhachkala's Dynamo.
