Ron and Hermione had two children.
The Yekaterinburg Zoo has welcomed new additions - a pair of Geoffrey's marmosets, Ron and Hermione, have given birth to two offspring: a boy and a girl. The babies were born on May 1 and have already been delighting visitors with their activity for several months.
As the zoo reported, the offspring have already stopped constantly sitting on their parents' backs and are actively exploring their enclosure. The male has proven to be bolder and more restless - he constantly runs around the branches and doesn't let the adults rest. His sister, on the other hand, remains cautious for now, often staying close to her mother, although she is gradually becoming more curious.
The babies can be distinguished by their coloration: the boy is lighter, while the girl is darker.
The marmosets are gradually transitioning from their mother's milk to solid food. Their diet includes fruits, insects, cottage cheese, and offal, with locusts being their favorite treat.
Both parents are involved in raising the offspring. Hermione monitors the babies' routine, while Ron carries the little ones on his back along with her. The whole family is currently doing well.
You can see the little marmosets in the "Southern" pavilion on the second floor of the Yekaterinburg Zoo.
