A number of streets in Yekaterinburg will be closed for several weeks for the Youth Festival.
In Yekaterinburg, from September 4 to September 20, traffic will be restricted in the area of the International Exhibition Center "Yekaterinburg Expo." The measures are related to the preparation and holding of the International Youth Festival.
The first section will be closed starting September 4 at 08:00. Traffic on Universiade Street will be closed until 23:59 on September 20—from Expo Boulevard to the access road to the treatment facilities.
Starting September 8 at 08:00, restrictions will be introduced on several other streets:
- Expo Boulevard—from the roundabout at the entrance to the "Yekaterinburg Expo" territory to the interchange at Novosinar Boulevard;
- Novosinar Boulevard—from Expo Boulevard to Universiade Street;
- 100th Anniversary of UrFU Street—from Novosinar Boulevard to Expo Boulevard;
- Universiade Street—from Novosinar Boulevard to Expo Boulevard;
- Exhibition Street—from EKAD to "Yekaterinburg Expo."
On these same sections, parking of vehicles will be prohibited from 00:01 on September 8 to 23:59 on September 20.
The restrictions will not affect accredited festival transport, emergency and utility services, as well as passenger transport following established routes. The city authorities will provide additional information about changes in public transport operations.
