A notorious traffic rule violator died in the Middle Urals as a result of a traffic accident. The motorcycle accident with a fatal outcome occurred around 03:30 on Thursday, August 13, on the 19th kilometer of the road "village of Ust-Bugalysh - settlement of Degtyarka" in the Krasnoufimsky district, reports the State Traffic Inspectorate of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region.
According to preliminary data, a 35-year-old local resident, while driving a Motoland motorcycle, chose a speed that was not appropriate for the specific road conditions, lost control, and went off the roadway, subsequently hitting an earth embankment and overturning the motorcycle.
As a result of the accident, the man sustained injuries incompatible with life and died before the arrival of the ambulance crew. The severity of the consequences was exacerbated by the absence of a helmet and a driver's license of the appropriate category.
During the investigation, it was established that the deceased had 15 years of experience driving vehicles. He had been held administratively liable for traffic violations 90 (!) times.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
"Operating a motorcycle on public roads requires a driver's license of the appropriate category and necessary driving skills. The use of protective gear - a helmet, chest and back protection, elbow pads, knee pads, motorcycle boots, and gloves - is not a luxury, but the only way to reduce the risk of severe injuries in case of a fall," reminds the State Traffic Inspectorate.
