The son of the former head of the Ural Rospotrebnadzor has been placed on the federal wanted list.
The elder son of the former head of the Chelyabinsk Rospotrebnadzor, Anatoly Semenov — Andrey — has been placed on the federal wanted list. The relevant information appeared in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
However, the article under which Andrey Semenov has been declared wanted is not specified. It is likely that he, like his father and brother (Alexey), is involved in a fraud case: Semenov Sr. fictitiously employed his sons at the Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant (ChEMK). They were paid salaries, although they never appeared at their workplace.
According to Ura.Ru, in February, FSB officers came to the Semenov family's home. At that time, the elder son was already not in Russia. His father and younger brother were detained. Both were sent to a pre-trial detention center, and last week were released under house arrest.
The family's assets worth over 400 million rubles have been confiscated for the benefit of the state. In addition to fraud, Semenov Sr. is accused of illegal entrepreneurial activity. According to the investigation, while serving as the head of the regional Rospotrebnadzor, he oversaw the activities of firms affiliated with his family.
It was previously reported that the former director of "Gortrans" was sentenced to 9 years in a penal colony for bribery.
