The investigation established that in 2025-2026, Kovalyova sought out migrants and registered them fictitiously in Yekaterinburg. Through accomplices, she sold correct answers to foreigners.
Her case is being considered separately from the accomplices; she made a deal with the investigation and gave confessional testimony. For bribery and aiding illegal migration, the court sentenced her to four years in a general regime colony.
