The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Sverdlovsk Region has become responsible for fuel supplies for farmers. The corresponding order was signed by Governor Denis Pasler.
Now the ministry will have to conclude agreements for fuel supplies for agricultural workers. The order is in effect until November 1, 2026 — until the completion of the harvest campaign, writes EAN.
It was previously reported that Sverdlovsk farmers complained about the sharp rise in gasoline prices. The most difficult situation was faced by peasant and farm enterprises in the summer, which did not have the funds for wholesale supplies. At gas stations during the restrictions, fuel was provided to farmers on a first-come, first-served basis and according to the restrictions in place at that time.
