August 27, 2026 The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region has included the company that disrupted the supply of gown sets (ceremonial clothing for university graduates) for Ural Federal University in the register of unscrupulous suppliers. The contract with LLC "Terminal" for the supply of 9,000 sets of gowns and caps was signed by Ural Federal University in April 2026.
According to the contract, the gowns were to be delivered by June 22, but on the day of the event, June 27, only part of the order was available to Ural Federal University. For this reason, the graduation ceremony took place without gowns, marking the first time in the university's recent history, EAN reports.
"The supplier violated essential terms of the contract. The full volume of goods was not delivered by the date of the graduation evening. The sets were missing necessary elements, and the quality of tailoring and materials did not meet the contract requirements," the FAS listed the grounds for including LLC "Terminal" in the list of unscrupulous suppliers.
