The entrance to the Yekaterinburg dendrarium for photo shoots has become paid.
Today at 17:36, it was reported on the E1.RU portal that the entrance to both dendrariums—on Pervomayskaya and 8 March streets—has been made paid.
This change will affect visitors who come for excursions or photo shoots. Payments will also be required for group workouts.
To engage in commercial activities, one will need to purchase a subscription: either for a day at 1,000 rubles or for a month at 5,000 rubles.
The city administration confirmed and clarified that photography itself is not prohibited.
"Everyone walking in the dendrariums will be allowed to photograph and be photographed for free. Subscriptions will only apply to those earning from photographs or workouts, or those coming with equipment," said the Yekaterinburg administration.
"All funds collected will be used to improve park infrastructure, including maintaining restrooms and protecting against vandalism."
