Today at 10:04 AM, an incident occurred in the Vyozhny village (Volchansk, Sverdlovsk region), resulting in the death of a five-year-old boy. The boy was fatally electrocuted by a fallen power line while riding his bicycle. This information was provided by the press service of the Sverdlovsk Region Prosecutor's Office.

According to preliminary data, a strong gust of wind caused a power line to fall. The fallen wire hit the child who was outside at the time. The child died before medical help arrived.
The authorities clarified that the boy was visiting relatives in the village. His family is not registered with child protection services.
Law enforcement agencies, including Prosecutor Vyacheslav Solomotov from Karpinsk, are investigating the scene.
