Today at 10:20 AM in Sysert, a 39-year-old resident of Sverdlovsk is being accused of sexual violence against his stepchildren—15-year-old Ksyusha and 14-year-old Dima (all names changed). The children kept the abuse a secret for several years, but after their mother’s divorce from the stepfather, they confided in what they had endured.

The victims’ mother, Maria, said that at first Konstantin seemed like an ideal husband and father:
— He took care of me and the children, helped out, and was interested in their lives, — recalls the woman in an interview with KP-Yekaterinburg.
In 2019, the couple got married, and the man moved in with his new wife and children. However, a year later, his behavior changed drastically:
— I was pregnant with our daughter, but he became aggressive, yelled at me and the children, and could disappear for months, — says Maria.
After the child’s birth, Konstantin returned briefly, but the arguments continued. In spring 2024, he beat Maria and the eldest daughter, after which she filed for divorce.
Following the divorce, the children began working with psychologists. In summer 2024, son Dima confided that the stepfather forced him and his sister to watch porn and had repeatedly touched him.
Later, Ksyusha revealed that in May 2024, Konstantin had touched her thighs under the pretext of watching a movie together.
In September 2024, Maria contacted the Investigative Committee. In November, a criminal case was initiated under the article "Violent sexual acts with a threat of murder."
During questioning, the man admitted that he showed the children porn but called it a "disciplinary measure." He also attempted to discredit Ksyusha, claiming that she “was dating a 50-year-old,” but an examination refuted his words.
During a search of the suspect's car, four bags with sex toys were found.
Konstantin now faces up to 20 years in prison. The case remains under investigation.
