As stated by URA.RU in the Yekaterinburg mayor's office press service, the information that some employees' salaries have decreased is true.
— The voluntary transfer to a four-day workweek involved a salary reduction, — the city hall confirmed.
They added that the shortened workweek was offered only to management staff.
According to one metro employee on the Telegram channel Ural Mash, such measures happened during the pandemic. Employees do not want to resign because they fear ending up completely without a job.
The Sverdlovsk regional government will consider implementing a part-time regime at regional enterprises.
