
Clothes belonging to an 8-year-old boy who went missing while on a walk were found in Sverdlovsk Oblast.
Security forces found the clothing of a boy who went missing in Artyomovsky on the shore of a flooded quarry. Jeans, flip‑flops and the schoolboy's T‑shirt were lying by the water. Divers will now search the quarry. Investigators are also conducting an inquiry.
"During the inquiry, the scene was examined, items of clothing were seized, a number of local residents were questioned, and characterizing material regarding the minor and members of his family was requested," the press service of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region clarified.
Volunteers joined the search.
"The family in which the child is being raised is complete and well‑off, and was not registered with juvenile affairs authorities. The boy lives with his mother and father, two sisters and a brother, and is in the second grade," said Valeriy Gorelykh, press secretary of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region.
The boy's clothing was found by his parents. They were walking the streets near the house.
Earlier it was reported that in the Urals authorities are searching for the body of 9‑year‑old Lena, who was killed in 1999 by a man who would later become the father of five children.
