In total, 26 applications were submitted to the regional ministry. Applications from the Novolyalinsky, Sysertsky and Krasnoufimsky municipal districts, Nizhny Tagil and Kamensk-Uralsky were rejected. The ministry explained that they had submitted incomplete document packages with their applications.

Among the 16 municipalities whose applications were approved, 6.4 billion rubles will be distributed in 2026–28. The largest shares will go to the Kushvinsky municipal district (1.54 billion), Irbit (1.5 billion) and the Berezovsky municipal district (543 million). The funds will be used for the reconstruction of wastewater treatment facilities.
