Security forces reported the detention of a pedophile who attacked a 10-year-old girl in El'mash.

      Law enforcement commented on the detention of a young man suspected of attacking a 10-year-old girl. According to the investigation, on the afternoon of August 21, 2025, he attacked the girl on the stair landing of a building on Stachek Street.

      "The suspect, a native of Angarsk in the Irkutsk Region, had prior convictions for theft and was unemployed. He was detained by criminal investigators based on the available description on a street in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. He did not resist when detained. The materials collected in the case were handed over by the detectives to our colleagues at the Investigative Committee," said Valeriy Gorelykh, press secretary of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region.

      The detainee is 24 years old. A criminal case has been opened against him under the article "Violent sexual acts committed against a person under the age of 14."

      Earlier, law enforcement detained a pedophile who had raped a schoolgirl in the Sverdlovsk Region. It later emerged what this man had done to the 15-year-old girl.
