Yekaterinburg kiosk owners are preparing to stage a mass rally.
In Yekaterinburg kiosk owners are preparing for a rally against the new scheme for placing non-stationary trade objects (NTOs). But they cannot obtain approval from the Ministry of Public Safety. This was told to the publication FederalPress by Denis Rudakov, chairman of the "Union of NTOs of the Sverdlovsk Region."
"We submitted an application to the Ministry of Public Safety to hold a mass event on August 25, but did not even receive an official response. Colleagues submitted another application on August 27. Another is being prepared. I suggest that comrades act together and in an organized way, but we cannot stop the wave of outrage: all other opportunities for dialogue with officials have been exhausted," Denis Rudakov said.
According to him, on August 29 at 1:30 p.m. he was invited to a personal reception with representatives of the Sverdlovsk government. The meeting will take place in the public reception office of the governor and the regional government.
Earlier a representative of Rospechat said that the closure of kiosks selling newspapers and magazines in Yekaterinburg could turn into the closure of the press distribution network across the entire Sverdlovsk Region. It was also reported that the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has been asked to allow Rospechat's kiosks to remain in the city.
