What is known about the Sverdlovsk family where three children died in a fire?

      Acquaintances of the family in which three children died in a fire spoke about the parents of those children. Their mother, Anna, works as a salesperson at the village store in Loginovo, where she is well known. For the past year the woman had been on leave to care for the youngest child.

      — We are in complete shock. Annushka was always very kind, she adored children. She dreamed of having her own house and a big family. She had wonderful little kids, they kept livestock — chickens, goats, — her colleague at E1 said.

      Anna and her husband Anatoly have seven children. Four were carried out of the fire. Three died — firefighters found the bodies of two boys, aged five and eleven, and a seven-year-old girl.

      — Our kids went there. The mother sits all the time by the burnt house, doesn’t react to anything, she’s silent. She needs serious psychological help, a local resident said.

      A criminal case has been opened in connection with the tragedy for causing death by negligence. The prosecutor’s office is also conducting an inquiry. They clarified that three other children — aged 9, 12 and 14 — were taken to hospital. The one-and-a-half-year-old child was unharmed. Investigators believe the preliminary cause of the fire was a fault in the electrical wiring.
