Punching bags are being removed from the center of Yekaterinburg.
Illegal punching machines are being dismantled in Yekaterinburg, reports the E1.RU portal. Now those who are used to letting off steam on the strength testers will have to look for new places to entertain themselves. The owner was given three hours to dismantle it himself, but when the deadline passed the administration took care of it.
"The strength tester will be taken to a specially designated site. There are seven such attractions in the Leninsky District — all will be removed. If the process used to take three weeks, now 3–5 hours is enough," explained a representative of the district administration.
Civic activists arrived at the scene together with officials, including members of the "Russian Community" volunteer patrol. While the machine was being unscrewed, a young man appeared, claiming he intended to take the strength tester. When refused, he did not start a conflict. However, a few minutes later three burly men tried to steal the device but were stopped. In the end they abandoned the machine and fled.
Now the owner will be able to get the equipment back only through the courts, reimbursing the dismantling costs.
Recall that all illegal objects in the city center are subject to seizure: shooting galleries, strength testers, children's car rental points and even attractions like "pop the balloon." Owners are given only three hours for voluntary dismantling.
In Yekaterinburg they decided to tackle "Anapa" in the center.
In Yekaterinburg they want to completely transform Vaynera Street.
