Guf's farewell concert took place in Yekaterinburg.
Rapper Guf (real name Aleksey Dolmatov) held his farewell concert on September 11 in Yekaterinburg. The artist announced in February that he was ending his music career, reports E1.RU.
There wasn’t a single empty seat in the Yekaterinburg‑Expo hall where the performance took place — fans had bought all the tickets.
The rapper explained his decision to leave the big stage by saying he was tired. “I’ve kind of grown tired of rap. Vasya [Basta] has managed to retrain himself, but I’m honestly fed up with everything.” Guf did not come out for an encore, writes E1.RU culture editor Darya Kostomina.
Today, September 13, at the same Expo, Guf will give a second concert, for which tickets have also already sold out.
Recall that in August Roskomnadzor restricted access to three of the rapper’s tracks, as well as one song by another group featuring him. Their lyrics were found to include references to drugs.
Those residents of Yekaterinburg who don’t listen to Guf will surely remember the incident that occurred at his concert in the Ural capital last spring. Then one of the young men in the hall climbed onto the stage to the performer, and then suddenly jumped from there into the crowd and accidentally struck an unfamiliar girl in the face with his foot. The victim noted that the guy had “strange eyes.”
