Indian summer will come to Yekaterinburg, but not alone.
Starting Sunday, September 14 and continuing through the following Saturday, it will be +20 °C in Yekaterinburg, but, as our president says, there are nuances.
As forecast at a press conference by the chief meteorologist of Ural Hydromet, Galina Sheporenko, beginning on September 13 the Sverdlovsk Region will start to warm and a weather pattern known in Russia as Indian summer will establish itself.
"From Saturday evening the region will see stable weather determined by the influence of an anticyclone. It is expected to last roughly until the end of next week," says the Telegram channel of the "independent" meteorologist Alexey Pulin, "Weather in Yekaterinburg."
On Saturday, September 13 the daytime air temperature in Yekaterinburg will be +17…+19 °C. The wind will blow from the northwest and west, but not strongly — at 2-7 m/s.
"By daytime the warm air mass will spread across the entire region. The change of air mass will be accompanied by increased cloudiness; light local precipitation is possible," Pulin reports.
Despite the daytime warmth, nights will be quite cold — no higher than +7…+9 °C.
September 14 (Sun): night +6, day +20
September 15 (Mon): night +8, day +20
September 16 (Tue): night +7, day +20
September 17 (Wed): night +7, day +19
September 18 (Thu): night +7, day +20

On Thursday, September 11 the mean daily air temperature in Yekaterinburg fell below +10 °C for the first time since May 25.
"For the autumn season this is one of the latest first crossings of the daily mean through +10 °C in the past half-century," the meteorologist added.
Earlier Galina Sheporenko said that this year's summer was unusually long — it lasted about half a month longer.
