In Yekaterinburg, a person fell under a tram near the "Ptichiy Rynok" stop on Khalturina Street, reports the Telegram channel "Yekaterinburg. Main".
When the tram began to move, the passenger compartment door was not fully closed. As a result, a 65-year-old man fell out of the second door of the first car as the tram pulled away from the stop.
As a result of the fall the passenger ended up under the second car. He suffered a traumatic amputation of a leg. The man was rushed to Yekaterinburg City Clinical Hospital No. 24.
One of Gortrans' senior officials went to the scene of the incident.
Earlier in Yekaterinburg, an elderly woman fell onto the asphalt from a route bus after a door failed to close when the vehicle began moving. She narrowly avoided being run over.
