Ukrainian drones have previously attacked Udmurtia several times. As a result of the July 1 raid in Izhevsk, three people were killed and 35 were hospitalized.
Residents of the republic regularly receive SMS messages about the declaration and cancellation of the "Drone Danger" alert. It was previously declared on August 9.
"A 'Drone Danger' regime has been introduced in Udmurtia — this means that UAVs have been detected in neighboring regions. All our combat units are on standby. A decision was made to evacuate the airport's passengers. It was carried out calmly, according to instructions," the head of the region, Alexander Brechalov, said on his Telegram channel.
