The Prosecutor’s Office demands that Greenwich be closed again.
The Greenwich shopping and entertainment center may be closed again due to complaints from the prosecutor’s office. The Leninsky District Court has begun considering the prosecutor’s lawsuit seeking to suspend use of the premises until the identified anti-terrorism and fire safety violations are remedied.
According to the agency, by early September 12 violations had not been corrected, 10 of which related to fire safety requirements and two to anti-terrorism measures. According to Interfax, the owners of Greenwich see no grounds for imposing restrictions.
“As of today, 98–99% of the orders that existed at the time the lawsuit was filed have been carried out,” Maria Kutepova, adviser on strategic communications for the Malysheva 73 holding, told EAN.
Recall that Greenwich closed on June 30. It only managed to reopen on July 10. The reason given was the need to bring all systems up to modern standards.
