      Two people became victims of a road accident that occurred on Monday morning, September 22, on the road out of Artemovsky, reports the local publication "Yegorshinskie Vesti" on its Telegram channel.

      Two cars — a Chevrolet and a Hyundai — collided. The 22-year-old woman driving the Chevrolet, which was heading toward Bulanash, died at the scene. A 41-year-old man — a passenger in the Hyundai — later died on the operating table.

      The driver of the Korean car is in a hospital in Artemovsky with injuries.

      A video filmed from a car driving past the crash site and posted on the "Yegorshinskie Vesti" Telegram channel shows the deceased woman's car, which is irreparable.

      According to witnesses, the cause of the accident may have been potholes in the road. Pothole repair work is being carried out at this location, which the woman may not have known about and therefore may not have reduced her speed in time.

      The funeral of the deceased, Irina Averyanova, will take place on Wednesday, September 24, in the settlement of Bulanash.
