A formal awards ceremony for officers from regional Main Directorates of the Interior Ministry and the FSB, in recognition of their active participation in the search for the escapees, as well as for employees of the Russian Copper Company (RCC), who also assisted in the special operation, was held at GUFSIN. Letters of appreciation signed by the head of GUFSIN, medals, and valuable gifts were presented.
The head of GUFSIN, Lieutenant General of the Internal Service Alexander Fedorov, thanked all participants in the searches and noted the high level of cooperation during the operation between the security agencies, volunteers, the Russian Copper Company and local residents.
The management of the Russian Copper Company, it should be noted, themselves offered assistance to GUFSIN, providing personnel, drones and ATVs. Volunteers from the Russian Copper Company had previously been involved in searching for people missing in the forests.
