September 28, 2025. The M-5 highway near Zlatoust was buried in snow. Officers of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Chelyabinsk Region urged drivers not to go out onto the highway if their car still has summer tires, E1.RU reports.
Snow-clearing equipment is operating on the highway, the South Ural State Traffic Inspectorate said. Drivers on summer tires are recommended to refrain from traveling there.
"Light snowfall is being observed, the road has been treated, and traffic is moving in both directions without difficulties," the agency noted.
Snow also fell today in the Sverdlovsk Region, including Yekaterinburg.
